Scholarly Journals

Scholarly journals are typically associated with the research done in academic disciplines or subject areas. Articles published in scholarly journals are subject to peer review. This means that such articles have an additional screening criterion--the "objective" judgment of experts in a discipline or subject area--that must be met in order to be published.
